Zig Zag: Weather
Weather is a unit of the BBC Schools TV series Zig Zag from the 1990s & 2000s, covering geography for primary school pupils.
Children investigate different weather patterns with the help of BBC weather forecaster Helen Young and dramatic film from Australia and Canada.
Primary Geography
From 2005 this unit was repeated as part of the new series Primary Geography, which brought together geography programmes from Zig Zag and Landmarks. The opening titles were amended to add the Primary Geography logo at the start, but the programmes were otherwise intact.
In fact this was the very last unit of programmes technically to join the Primary Geography series, with the addition of the Primary Geography logo. Other, older geography units from Landmarks were subsequently repeated during the Primary Geography era, but without any amendments they remained simply repeats of Landmarks programmes.
