Zig Zag: Village, Town, City
Village, Town, City is a unit of the BBC Schools TV series Zig Zag and Primary Geography from the 1990s & 2000s, covering geography for primary school pupils.
Local children from four distinct places in Britain use their geographical skills to investigate their local areas and how the land and services are used.
The unit covers the village of Hendon in Suffolk, the town of Porthmadog in North Wales, the city of Leeds in England, and a farm at Princetown in Devon.
Primary Geography
From 2003 this unit was repeated as part of the new series Primary Geography, with amended opening titles but otherwise intact.
