Words and Pictures: Series 6 (Vicky Ireland)
Series 6 of the BBC Schools TV series Words and Pictures was shown in the 1980s, covering English for Primary pupils.
A new set of programmes for the spring and summer terms featuring Vicky Ireland as a children's librarian assisted by the little animated man Charlie.
The magic pencil shows how to draw letters, when relevant to the week's programme, and there are songs, activities and reading opportunities from the screen.
