Words and Pictures: Series 13 (Michael Hobbs)
Series 13 of the BBC Schools TV series Words and Pictures was shown in the 1990s & 2000s, covering English for Primary pupils.
The presenter is Michael Hobbs for the first series of Words and Pictures to made independently of the BBC, by the company SFTV. The letter of the week is announced at the start of each episode, and various things with that sound are demonstrated, while Michael tries activities and tells stories in the studio and on location.
There are animations and activities, and magic pencil demonstrating how to write a letter each week.

In addition, the eight summer term programmes (episodes 21-28) were repeated in a two-hour block for overnight recording on the BBC Learning Zone on BBC2 during the summer holidays in 2003. These broadcasts were meant for home learners, and went out at 3am on Sunday 20th July 2003 and Sunday 31st August 2003.
