Look and Read/schedules/1960s
This extremely boring page lists all of the individual broadcast dates for the Look and Read stories on the BBC.
Each Look and Read episode was generally shown twice each week. In the days before video recorders, this gave two chances for the broadcast to fall during a convenient time on the school timetable. It also meant that classes could watch each episode twice, to pick up things they might have missed the first time, if teachers so chose.
These lists only give regular broadcasts to schools during the school term, and do not currently include the whole episodes or extracts which were shown as previews for teachers in Out of School programmes during the holidays.
