Videomaths
Videomaths is an ITV and later Channel 4 schools TV series from the 1980s and 1990s, covering Mathematics for primary school pupils.
A video resource programme for junior schools, bringing together a wide range of different sequences on mathematical topic.
Typically each episode uses animated films, footage of playground games and children carrying out investigations, and speeded-up or slowed-down film to illustrate a certain point. There are also stories and the various adventures of an animated computer chip called Hi-Tech, or HT to his friends. No presenters are seen but the programmes are narrated by Fred Harris. The series was accompanied by speciallly-written computer software, and children are shown using that software in the programmes.
