- replaced Music II
- During 1940-41 featured stories of The Music Shop run by Mr Chopneedle, leading to a new series in 1941-42, The Music Traveller, which replaced the Preparatory Concert Broadcasts
- The Music Shop was then re-opened under new management in 1942-43.
