Orchestral Concert Series is a BBC schools radio series from the 1940s, 1950s and 1960s, covering music for secondary school pupils.
- replaced Concert Lessons
- because the Concert Lessons included some orchestral concerts, the title "Orchestral Concert Series" was used in the Radio Times occasionally from January 1941
- not to be confused with the Orchestral Concerts broadcast, mainly in Scotland, during the 1930s
- 20-minute illustrated talks most weeks, with full half hour concerts given every three or four times per term
- In the late 1940s and early 1950s a 10-minute Let's Hear It Again segment was broadcast after each talk, repeating performances from previous programmes to allow consolidation work on music that listeners had already heard
- for a few years from 1958 one term a year was dedicated to opera
- replaced by Music Session Two
