Scene: Why Prejudice?
Why Prejudice? is an episode of the BBC schools TV series Scene from the 1980s, covering citizenship for secondary school pupils.
From the teacher's notes
"This programme will concentrate on racial prejudice. Scene has transmitted programmes with examples of prejudice in other contexts: Autumn term - prejudice against victims of crime and against women; this term - programmes 3, 5, 10; Summer term - programme 4 and programme 6, which includes a film by partially sighted children explaining prejudice against them. Teachers may find it useful in class discussion to ask pupils to think about these and other contexts." - Scene teacher's notes spring 1980 p.8.
