Our Village is a BBC schools radio series from the 1930s, covering geography for primary and secondary school pupils.

  • replaced Your Home and Mine
  • replaced by Our Parish
  • based in the imaginary village Stanwellstead
  • a sequel, returning to Stanwellstead five years later in very different circumstances, was called Our Village in Wartime and broadcast as part of For Rural Schools in 1942-43. Teachers who still had the Our Village pamphlets were encouraged to re-use them.
