Writers' Workshop is an ITV schools TV series from the 1970s and 1980s, covering English for primary and secondary school pupils.
- programmes to provide inspiration for creative writing
- broadcast fortnightly, alternating first with The World Around Us and later with Music Round
- from autumn 1978 onwards episodes of About Books were broadcast a few times per term in place of Writers' Workshop - the series was then billed as Writers' Workshop / About Books
- replaced by Middle English - episodes of Writers' Workshop and About Books were repeated as part of Middle English's first year
