The Story of Industry is an ITV schools TV series from the 1960s, covering science for secondary school pupils.
- tracing the history of scientific industrial development, in the autumn term from early man to 1900, and in the spring term during the first half of the twentieth century
- a continuation in the summer term looking at the latest developments went out under the title Science in Industry
- the series was produced by Associated-Rediffusion, but an episode on The Building of Ships in the spring term was produced by Scottish Television
- replaced The Story of Medicine
