The Penny Programme is a BBC schools radio series from the 1970s, covering Economics for primary school pupils.

  • "specially prepared for the term during which Britain changes to decimal currency"
  • the BBC also produced series for adults dealing with the change to decimal currency, including Decimal Points, broadcast on Radio 3 in late 1970 & early 1971, and New Money, broadcast on BBC1 and BBC2 for two weeks in January & February 1971
