The Australia Project is a BBC schools radio series from the 1980s, covering various topics for primary school pupils.

  • programmes on history, geography and literature (one programme on each topic each day, for five days) to celebrate the bicentenary of British settlement in Australia
  • followed The China Project from 1986
  • the title The Australia Project was later used in spring 1990 to unite various episodes of Earth Search, History Lost and Found and Living Language on the topic of Australia
