Stories of Faith is a unit of the Channel 4 Schools series Stop, Look, Listen from the 1990s, covering religion for primary school pupils.

Stories from different religions, told to camera by actors. The programmes are designed to help children understand different religious beliefs through the way stories are told.

Awards

Episode 5, Sikhism - The Guru and the Water Carrier, won the Governor of Tokyo Prize for best pre-school educational programme at the 1996 Japan Prize contest for educational television. The contest brochure includes an appreciation, and comments from the director on the making of the programme.

The Sikhism episode also won the Royal Television Society Award for Pre-School and Infants Schools Television in 1996.

Episode 4, Christianity - Zaccaheus the Tax Collector and Jesus, won an Award from the Christian Broadcasting Council in 1996.
