Slambash Wangs of a Compo Gormer is an English and Klaptonian-language BBC schools radio series from the 1980s, covering English for secondary school pupils.
- an adventure serial by Robert Leeson about an ordinary schoolboy called Arnold who daydreams about the fantasy Orange Planet of Klaptonia, only to find himself kidnapped and exchanged for a Klaptonian prince
- the point of the series is to give pupils experience of how language works through the made-up Klaptonian language which, although the words are often different, can be understood by English speakers
- the title is Klaptonian for The Fighting Fantasies of a Comprehensive Wally
- originally scheduled to be broadcast in a resource week for block recording from 21st to 25th March 1988, but postponed until the autumn term
