Scene: Young Marriage
Young Marriage is an episode of the BBC schools TV series Scene from the 1970s and 1980s, covering citizenship for secondary school pupils.
Documentary looking at three young couples who are thinking about getting married or already have. Geoff married Kim as soon as she turned 16; Robert and Christine married when she became pregnant at 17; Lorraine is 18 and her marriage has broken down, so she is living alone with her baby. They all talk about how they came to their current situations, and their plans for the future.
