Scene: The Cage
The Cage is an episode of the BBC schools TV series Scene from the 1980s, covering citizenship for secondary school pupils.
From the teacher's notes
"The play does not reveal the exact reasons why Paula, Bet and Georgy are in Broomfield. Whatever their problems, it is likely that they have persistently absconded from either their homes or from other assessment centres or children's homes. Girls generally don't reveal to each other the reasons wht they are in such a centre." - Scene teacher's notes autumn 1984 p.5.
