Scene: Morecambe and Wise
Morecambe and Wise is an episode of the BBC schools TV series Scene from the 1970s, covering citizenship for secondary school pupils.
Following the popular comedy performers rehearsing and recording their television programme, including interviews with the stars and their writer Eddie Braben. The documentary follows the development of a particular sketch in which Eric imagines he is the Prime Minister.

Ronald Smedley also produced a longer documentary about Morecambe and Wise for an adult audience called Fools Rush In, which was broadcast in Omnibus on 18th February 1973.
