Scene: Dear Life
Dear Life is an episode of the BBC schools TV series Scene from the 1990s, covering citizenship for secondary school pupils.
From the teacher's notes
"Dear Life can be read as a science-fiction story, through one in which the situation is uncomfortably within the bounds of possibility. Within the science-fiction context, though, it is a tragic love story which would be ideal for students to discuss as part of an approach to, for example, Romeo and Juliet." - Scene teacher's notes spring 1994 p.21.
