Scene: All That Glitters
All That Glitters is a unit of the BBC schools TV series Scene from the 1970s, covering citizenship for secondary school pupils.
Two documentaries about the successes and struggles in the lives of pop musicians. The first programme is about the successful British rock band The Sweet, their riches and the price of fame. The second programme is about a group called Renia who are struggling to make a name for themselves.
Another Scene programme, called It's Only Rock 'n' Roll, followed up the progress made by both bands in 1976.
