Operation Maths is a BBC schools radio series from the 1980s and 1990s, covering Mathematics for primary school pupils.

The Calculated Tales series of dramatisations presenting pupils with problems to solve was repackaged as Operation Maths in 1989 to accommodate the introduction of the National Curriculum in England and Wales. The original 12 Calculated Tales were repeated, alongside 16 newly produced episodes, and five new INSET programmes for teachers (in line with this site's convention, the teachers' programmes are not included in the episode count on the right). In 1991 the 8-part Whirligig unit Maths Pack was also repeated as part of Operation Maths.

Operation Maths was always broadcast in a 20-minute timeslot. The INSET programmes lasted for the full 20 minutes, while the Calculated Tales and Maths Pack episodes were ten minutes long each, and broadcast in pairs.
