My World is an ITV schools TV series from the 1960s, 1970s and 1980s, covering Early Learning for primary school pupils.

  • two infant series in one: the first was based around story-telling, rhymes and songs, presented by Maureen Sutcliffe; the second about activities based on everyday things including nature study, visits to the park, the zoo or the farm, and people who help us, presented by Martin Banham
  • from autumn 1972 two separate titles were used for these strands: My World: Stories and My World: Real Life
  • after autumn 1975 more storytellers took part in the Stories programmes, including Hannah Gordon, Andrew Burt, Derek Fowlds, Hywel Bennett, Julie Stevens, Keith Barron and Elisabeth Sladen
  • replaced by Our World - while My World repeats were still broadcast alongside the new Our World episodes the series was billed as Our World - My World
