Music Scene is an ITV schools TV series from the 1970s, covering music for secondary school pupils.

  • fortnightly programmes aiming to stimulate interest in music by presenting a wide range of music from many different sources, including dramatised incidents from the history of music and demonstrations by experienced musicians
  • the final episode in the summer term was about music for film and included a drama loosely based on the story My Humphreys and his Inheritance by M.R.
