Music Makers (radio): The American Pageant


The American Pageant is a unit of the BBC schools radio series Music Makers from the 1970s, covering music for primary and secondary school pupils.
A series of songs on significant moments in the history of the United States.
The unit was originally put on in 1976 to support project work commemorating the 200th anniversary of the American Declaration of Independence.
