Merry-Go-Round
Merry-Go-Round is a BBC schools TV series from the 1960s, 1970s and 1980s, covering Topics and Miscellany for primary school pupils.
Merry Go Round was the BBC's miscellany series for primary schools for 20 years. It brought together programmes on many, varied school topics which did not have a separate series of their own for the primary years, including science, history, geography, literacy, and even sex education for 7 to 9 year olds. The series also produced many drama serials to help with teaching history or English, and two of those serials even gave rise to the long-running schools programme Look and Read.
