Maths Songbook
Maths Songbook is a BBC schools radio series from the 1980s, covering Mathematics for primary school pupils.
Five-minute programmes featuring lively songs covering addition, subtraction, multiplication and division. The songs were written by Sarah McNeil, Peter Hutchings & Albert Chatterley and were designed to be easy to learn and useful throughout the primary school.
The Songbook was broadcast weekly on Fridays in autumn 1982, and daily during the first and last weeks of the same term. Three new songs were added when the series was repeated on Friday mornings in autumn 1983.
