Using the Land is a unit of the BBC Schools TV series Landmarks from the 2000s, covering geography for primary school pupils.

Two case studies in each programme looking at how human use of land has grown and declined.

A companion unit examined World Environmental Changes in a similar way.

Landmarks Shorts

Edited versions of individual case studies were presented in shorter 10-minute episodes, which were presented as Landmarks Shorts.

The Shorts were later shown as part of Landmarks' replacement series Primary Geography, with the Primary Geography opening titles added to the start of each episode, but these original 20 minute programmes were not.
