Special Reports is a unit of the BBC Schools TV series Landmarks from the 1990s, covering geography for primary school pupils.

Children across Europe investigate environmental issues in their local areas, including the state of rare marshes, plans for toxic waste, and two reports from England on recycling and river pollution.

These films, longer at 25 minutes than usual episodes of Landmarks, show projects undertaken by schools as part of a Greenpeace initiative called 'No Time to Waste' and were part of an international exchange of footage which participating broadcasters could adapt into local programmes. They expand on the 'No Time to Waste' projects featured in Landmarks' earlier Earthwatch unit.

In addition, at least one of the episodes from this unit, on Espoo, Finland, was broadcast overnight on BBC2's Learning Zone broadcasts, at the end of a block repeat of the Portrait of Europe unit. As far as I know this block was shown only once, in Autumn 1996 on Tuesday 26th November 1996 around 3:40am. I'm not sure whether other Special Reports were shown during overnight repeats of other Landmarks units that term.
