History in Action is an ITV and later Channel 4 schools TV series from the 1980s, 1990s and 2000s, covering history for secondary school pupils.
- originally a Granada documentary series using film footage and investigative journalism techniques to apply the format of the "World in Action" documentary series to school history
- later a variety of history units on Channel 4 Schools:

- The Wild West (summer 1995), an American documentary series in six 50-minute episodes
