Current Affairs II is a BBC schools radio series from the 1940s, 1950s and 1960s, covering Current Affairs for secondary school pupils.
- originally featuring Alf from History in the Making
- originally there was only one Current Affairs series. A second series for younger pupils called Current Affairs I was added in autumn 1953, at which point this series was retitled Current Affairs II, but Current Affairs I was withdrawn in 1959 because two such series could no longer be justified given rising costs
- special programmes for Scotland were broadcast occasionally from 1957 onwards, replacing the equivalent episodes from England
- replaced by The Modern World (combining Current Affairs and Modern History)
