Scene had previously met Sonia in the programme Sonia and the Olympic Games prior to the Munich Olympics. This follow-up programme was shown in 1979 and features the athlete talking about her career up to the 1978 European Championships. It was slightly re-edited in autumn 1980 to include her thoughts on the 1980 Moscow Olympics at which she won a bronze medal.
