Sent Away from Home is an episode of the BBC schools TV series Scene from the 1970s, covering citizenship for secondary school pupils.

The second of two documentaries about life during the Second World War, this programme focusses on the experiences of children in wartime including evacuation and school life. The actor Michael Caine discusses his experience.
